Words from the Wise #5

“Don’t count the days, make the days count.”

Some words of inspiration for this beautiful Thursday. Make every day count because you never know what life may bring. Enjoy and make the best of it.

Work It Out

Who likes to work out? Not me! Working out is just so exhausting … as it should be, but seriously, why is it so difficult to get up and go?!

Lately, I’ve been feeling sluggish and tired so I decided to try working out more regularly to boost my energy. So far, it’s actually worked and made me feel more awake. Obviously, working out gets your body in shape, but it also helps relieve stress, reduces the risk of various health problems, keeps your brain working, and helps you sleep better.

If you like to run, definitely use running socks that have extra support since running has a lot of impact on your feet. I used to think socks were just socks, but once I tried the Drymax Hyper Thin No Show Running Socks, I was a believer. It gave my arches more support and kept my feet drier than regular socks. Definitely recommended.

Feet in the Sand

Have you ever gone to the beach and came home feeling like your skin was newly exfoliated — like you just got a body scrub? Well, I do.  After sticking my feet in the sand and splashing in the salty ocean, my skin feels rejuvenated and clean of dead skin (sorry, sounds gross — but true). Although I would love to have my skin feeling fresh and exfoliated everyday, it is impossible to go to the beach when there’s work, school, weather changes, or what have you.

We started digging around here at FootFitter (and no, not digging in the sand, but online), and found some amazing exfoliates and lotions that give your skin a similar, fresh-from-the-beach feeling. See these products and try it out for yourself. Nobody wants dry feet, so give it a little special care.

….And if you are one of the lucky ones who can get to the beach often, this is a perfect and relaxing solution 😉
